| The NY Times review certainly thought it had to do with theater. Making an entire show about the guy and not mentioning the accusations was a theatrical choice that can absolutely be discussed here. Salacious means "inappropriate interest in sexual matters." These weren't "sexual matters" like "who slept with who" you might discuss about adults. This was child abuse and I don't think it's fine to sweep it under the rug and produce a big Broadway musical spectacular about the man who committed these crimes. It's sickening. I won't stay silent on the matter. Why, you may ask? #MeToo. | |
