As a fat person it is cheering to see actors like Chrissy Metz, Josh Gad, Greg Grunberg and Sam Richardson (although not so much of late) getting to play funny, sexy, multidimensional fat characters whose weight does not define them. The amount of prejudice and scorn that fat people experience on a daily basis is revolting.
