I am so so so so happy. I can’t explain it. This is like Carol Channing getting to play Dolly or Julie Andrews to play Eliza. I didn’t even see Fantasia in the role; I could just « feel » that she was thrillingly extraordinary. Sooo happy for her.
I did see LaChanze and Cynthia Erivo, both of whom were excellent.
