| I must agree. Even though I saw it with about 12 people on January 1, it looks -- and sounds -- especially wonderful in a house with good digital equipment. Ah, the music that begins in the dark had me tearing up from the start. Those opening notes, seemingly coming from behind me somewhere in the multi-track presentation. Bernstein is very honored in the reverential treatment, and with state of the art sound, that makes the cinema experience a heightened and glorious one. Worth the ice, snow, masking, and empty seats around you. Go. |
