Only slightly OT. I returned to Hamilton October 6, seeing the show in person for the first time in 6 years. Gonzalez was fine, vocally strong, if overshadowed by the powerful Alexander of Cervantes. What I noticed, and we've discussed here: the role is relatively small. She gets two introductions in the first act, both songs among the score's signature numbers (still performed wonderfully). And then she has little to do. She heads off/returns from Europe, scolds briefly, gets a narrator prism in "It's Quiet Uptown." But I still miss a bigger moment in the second act that might balance the weight of her entrance (and I know she lost a number, post-workshop). The show is a masterwork, so this is a quibble. But her stage time is rather brief, totaled up. Without Goldsberry, it's more noticeable. Which may be why you're waiting for a new actor.
