"arthouse" shows, as you call them, i would think rely much more heavily on the local liberal NYC and tri-state area audience... and they are firmly leaning pro-mask and vaxx checks. The bigger tourist attraction shows attract audiences from all over, and many of those places and the people wanting to see them are not as dependably pro-mask.
I think arthouse shows have to maintain protocols to appeal to local audiences, and big ones will want to loosen. |
