I lived in London for 17 years but go back a lot or did before Covid. I often use the Hub Hotels by Premier Inn. The Hub rooms are smaller but very clean and modern, ideal for one person for a longer stay or two people for three or four nights. My favorite ones are the Hub Soho right at the end of Old Compton Street. I also like the St Martins Lane Hub Covent Garden. Have also stayed at the Westminster Abbey and Goodge Street ones.
Right now you can get the Westminster Abbey for £569 for seven nights in the middle of March for example including all fees. I usually pay about £100 or so for a night at the Soho or Covent Garden locations. I like them because they will have a kitchen area downstairs with free tea and coffee all the time and have a nice newly decorated trendy clean feeling to the common areas too. Sometimes they have a hot breakfast buffet, for example at the Soho address should you not want to wander too far. |
