I think there is a three rule for the original to close and revival to open.
And MM had an $50m advance. I kind of doubt they plan to extend beyond jackman’s contract anyway. Look at hello dolly as an example of closing instead of putting more stars and letting the show struggle at the boxoffice. Peters probably kept the lights on but didn’t make much profit. |
