Speaking as someone who was playing D&D back in 1975 with the original three pamphlets (which I still have), who ran a campaign as Dungeon Master with the guy I ended up marrying, who has two daughters still playing and a son-in-law who runs multiple campaigns, I think this is a giggle. I am dubious about its success, though. Even though D&D has been around for nearly 50 years and had a resurgence of interest thanks to the STRANGER TIMES series, I wonder if there is enough widespread interest to capture any sizable audience. I mean, I would think songs about THACO and critical rolls would be a hoot, but I’m not everyone. :)
