| Max Clayton is the Harold Hill standby. He didn't get a chance to go on when Jackman was sick because he also had Covid then. Sean Montgomery is the understudy. |

| According to imdb, Clayton is 30 years old and is not appearing in the show unless he is playing Harold Hill, as would typically be true for a standby. I am sure Clayton is a wonderful performer, but he seems like an odd choice age-wise given the ages of Jackman and Foster. | |
