Reading between the lines of the reviews, that's about what I would expect. Sounds like a travesty. Why bother butchering a classic? Find something else to do.
Now, seeing David Greenspan doing his one-man Strange Interlude was something to remember! What a dazzling performance that was, followed by a very modest curtain call. The man was literally frothing at the mouth at the end of some of those "acts."
