Just watched that clip. Those Yorkshire dialects and accents take some getting used to but I try and not obsess over it when I'm watching something and miss things. Like anything in life, it's best to just let your confusion go and stay in the moment. I've seen enough theatre in languages I don 't understand to know that even without a word of dialogue I can still appreciate emotional beats and relationships between characters.
They sound pretty good to my ear. I have never seen The Daughter-in-Law but I have seen some other D.H. Lawrence one-acts and he really loved mining the peculiar argot of that region. Just accept the fact that some of it will go over your head and if you're not someone who hates spoilers, have a look at a synopsis so you can piece things together. Sometimes the most satisfying stories are ones we've heard before!
