Unacceptable. I purchased tickets to RAGTIME at the Hershey Theatre a while back. As soon as the show began my ears told me something was really wrong. I was in the first row and realized the orchestra pit was empty. I was shocked because there was no prior announcement of the show not having a live orchestra. Yet the tickets for the orchestra section were still pricey. In fact, they were the same price I paid for the future touring production there for THE KING AND I with eighteen musicians. When I asked the woman at the box office during intermission as to why the ads didn't mention there was no live music she replied, "Sir, there ARE live musicians. One plays percussion and the other plays tapes.
