| He also posted on All That Chat as snowysdad. Bill was a character, and loved, loved, loved theatre. |

| So sorry to hear that news. I never realized he was a reviewer, but my interactions with him here were always lovely. His enthusiasm was palpable. I feel like he was still posting within the last few months, which is great. RIP | |

| Oh no, Ann. I had not heard from him in awhile and was concerned. We met up a few years ago here in St. Petersburg and often met at shows to chat. He loved theater and music and especially opera so much and was so knowledgable. The last time I saw him he gave me a new book on Comden and Green. I will sorely miss him and his reviews here. They always were so helpful. | |

| such sad news. Bill and I often traded emails about the shows he and I were reviewing. If you happen to have a link to an obituary Ann I'd love to read it. God speed Bill! | |

| Bill was 70, and had treatment for prostate cancer in 2013, but by this past November, that had developed into several cancers. He was hospitalized beginning in early January. Bill was a raconteur, and would have loved to join the recent Music Man discussions, as he always told of Winthrop being his first role. He was involved in theatre in the Boston area (and elsewhere) before relocating to Florida. I know the local theatre companies appreciated his reviews - he wrote 553 for us, covering the Sarasota area, from October 2011 through October 2021. |

| This is sad news. He was a good natured poster and I'm sure we will all miss him. I had no idea he also reviewed plays for ATC. | |

| I am also very sad to hear of his passing. I enjoyed reading his posts, and I did not know he reviewed as well. If it's okay to ask, does anyone know where his name of "snowysdad" came from? I read a lot of Tintin books when I was growing up (many of which have aged horribly), and I wondered if "snowy" came from that or was unrelated. |

| I don't know for sure, but at one time he had a dog grooming business, so I always assumed it was a pet dog. | |

| I confess I wondered that about Bill’s handle, too, Snowy was always my second favorite character, after Captain Haddock, of course. Laura, who still curses “Billions of bilious blistering blue barnacles” at times |
