Bill was 70, and had treatment for prostate cancer in 2013, but by this past November, that had developed into several cancers. He was hospitalized beginning in early January.
Bill was a raconteur, and would have loved to join the recent Music Man discussions, as he always told of Winthrop being his first role.
He was involved in theatre in the Boston area (and elsewhere) before relocating to Florida. I know the local theatre companies appreciated his reviews - he wrote 553 for us, covering the Sarasota area, from October 2011 through October 2021. |
