The writer of this NYPost essay is obviously a jerk. The ushers in theaters have been great. I noticed in "The Music Man" recently that ushers had to repeatedly tell someone in the front row to pull up his or her mask. But the ushers were very respectful, very unobtrusive. Nothing like the behavior this NYP jerk seems to have observed. Also, why should anyone be drinking or eating in the theater? The Broadway theaters should not allow it. The Met Opera does not allow it.
