That they actually will reopen, which I didn’t think they would. And doing it before tony cutoff probably keeps the show fresh in the voters mind.

I agree it is a positive sign but I never thought they wouldn't. Staying in hiatus has not-insignificant costs associated with it and I do not think McCollum would have spent that money unless he thought there were greater than even odds that he would reopen. I also agree about the timing in relation to the putative cutoff.

why not? Are you actually suggesting that the production is just throwing money down the toilet? Or are you just making one of those snarky I-don't-like-the-show so nothing about it could be positive quips that are so popular around here?

I'm skeptical, too. If ''Mrs. Doubtfire'' were selling really well in March, they would've reopened on March 15, as previously announced.

Moving their reopening to April 14, probably cuts down any projected losses if mid-March to early April sales weren't looking good.
