I doubt covid will be eradicated. It will be like the flu with spikes. I do wonder if masking at theater will ever end unless ventilation is improved. It’s probably one of the few places that I like masking now. I don’t mask outside and I go to movies with sparse audiences and eat indoors without masks. The plane is a pain because of the length of flights and some don’t even have individual vents to have filtered air flowing.

Nope, it is not going to go away - it's a disease that is going to be here to stay. And it's going to have to be something that people are just going to have to figure out and move on with it. And it's something that will continue to be politicized to the extreme which, depending on how things go in the fall and in 2024, will greatly affect how people "figure out and move on with it," if you get my drift.
