I can’t tell if you’re being serious or sarcastic, but holy smokes, the theater is his life. Dramas, comedies, musicals, avant-grade. He’s easily a once-a-weeker. He adored Dolly, can wax poetic on the different actresses who played her, and each of their strengths and choices in the role.
Don’t ask him about the original production of Follies, unless you have an evening to spare.
The Music Man is one of his favorites, to be sure. The last revival he raved and raved. So, that he’s calling it quits on this one after one viewing is … remarkable. |
