Given the horrific death toll here, people are astonishingly lax when it comes to wearing masks in theatres (and in shops, and on trains, and just about everywhere else). Although it is no longer the law, managements are entitled to impose mask mandates on provate premises if they choose, and I'd much prefer it if they did.
At the moment, anyone who refuses to wear a face covering in an indoor public space, or complains about having to do so, is simply too selfish and stupid to be out among grown-ups. |
