You are not asking me, and I am not hostile, but I am surprised by your posture on this. As I said above, I view it as an imposition. In my experience, most actors find it a chore rather than anything positive so if the motivation is to express appreciation (as it is for apetricc12) rather than to obtain a selfie, autograph, etc., I have respectfully suggested it is misplaced. Are there actors who genuinely enjoy it? Sure, but it is also worth remembering that these are actors and they are capable of ACTING pleased and appreciative even when they are not. Hugh Jackman does not have the option of acting otherwise because he is not the type who wants negative social media videos of him ignoring "fans."

When you have a really great dinner at a restaurant, do you stand outside and wait for the chef to come out so you can tell them how much you love their cooking?
