I have been listening to ALW/ Zippel's "Cinderella" incessantly since the summer.

The ballads are typical ALW, but the chorus numbers and ensemble pieces are actually quite interesting, and there are amazing character pieces (the Queen and Stepmother's duet a huge highlight, and the stepsister's song "Unfair", basically without a clear time signature, is a fun, jaunty, surprising tune...).

I haven't SEEN the show, but I love it, and furthermore, it has enraptured my 6 and 9-year-old daughters in a way that few 'designed for families' musicals ever have. It's great, catchy, jaunty fun.

Yes, I'm an ALW mega-fan, and this one is actually, in my opinion, one of his strongest...

That's me. :)
