| A nice night in the theater. The production was beautiful and Hugh and Sutton were really great. I truly loved the kids. And Jane Houdyshell…..always a treasure. I just found the energy of the production surprisingly ow. That said, it was a great transition back to the theater given my dry spell since November. But that isn't why I write.....I bought 6 seats to celebrate my son's 30 birthday directly from the box office. The box office suggested far left orchestra given the availability. I specifically asked if the seats were partial view since they were so far left (Row E 17-21 and Row F 19-23). I was told that they were absolutely full view. As I worried, the seats were completely partial view yet sold at full price. Almost half the stage was out of our view for the first act. I was shocked and pretty angry. The manager moved us for the 2nd act, but we still missed half the show. Even if I hadn't asked, it is outrageous that these seats are sold at full price. The right side might have been better given the set design, but completely ruined our night. Buyer beware, it seems. |
