Exactly...they gave you the best information that they had at the time...which was, unfortunately, incorrect. When you asked the question, were you expecting them to say "Well, here's the information that we've been provided by the production, but we haven't been able to independently verify any of it, so what do you want do?" These hard working people are trusting the information they've been provided. They are the middlemen. They neither set prices nor make decisions about what constitutes "partial view." They are told something and that is what they pass on to customers when asked.
I just don't see why you're blaming them for doing their job.
Think of it this way...Someone asks you if it's raining. They have no way to independently check before they actually exit the building and neither do you. Someone who has a window, and who is not available to be questioned by the person asking, has told you that it is NOT raining. You pass that information on to the person who asked you. They exit the building into a storm and come back angrily to you. Whose fault is that? |
