I've been buying tickets at Broadway box offices since 1993. The box office personnel have always been able to tell me honestly if a seat was full view or partial view. If they aren't able to do that simple task, then there should be a house manager present who is able to do it.
On the rare occasion when I was given wrong information (which did happen to me recently, in fact, on Sat., 2/5/2022), I would immediately speak to the house manager when I arrive at the theater and ask (politely) to be re-seated. Sometimes box office personnel make honest mistakes. On Sat., 2/5/2022, the house manager apologized to me for the mistake that had been made and rectified the situation. |
