I agree with you. The box office folks are selling a product (a luxury one at that) and if they answer a question they should be giving correct information. If they have any doubt, they should say that unfortunately they don't know the answer. They probably thought they knew the answer and hopefully will learn that they did not.
Having sold in many high end environments, I've always understood it is my job to learn all the intricacies of what I am selling. That often involves me asking a lot of questions because I know if a mistake is made, I will be held responsible.
Yet, mistakes do happen. Sorry you experienced that. |
