| I did not realize that Sharon is the daughter of TV star and personality, Johnny Brown, who got his start on "Rowan and Martin's 'Laugh-In'" and is quite possibly best remembered as Nathan Bookman, the housing project superintendent on the "Maude" spinoff, "Good Times." Prior to his TV work, Mr. Brown appeared in two Broadway shows in the 60's: "Carry Me Back to Morningside Heights" and the Charles Strouse musical, "Golden Boy." Mr. Brown passed away on Wednesday at the age of 84. Sympathy is extended to Ms. Brown and all of her extended family. |
