I love Jane Lynch. I really enjoy her on the Marvelous Mrs Maisal as comedienne, Sophie Lennon. And I do get the visual joke of pairing her with Alex Borstein as her manager, Susie. Their repartee schtick works, and the visual height difference emphasizes the ambivalence of who’s actually managing whom.
That being said, is it expected that same height or the lack thereof “schtick” will be pursued with Lynch as Mrs Brice and Beanie Feldstein in Funny Girl? |
