Did Streisand ever really do a credible Fanny Brice impersonation? She was hysterically funny, an impressive singer and actress, and boy was she Jewish, but was she really Fanny Brice?
One thing I know for sure, she certainly was never Dolly Levi, born Gallagher, but then she dropped the Gallagher for the movie.
Another thing I know for damn sure, there is no one better at doing Streisand than Barbra S. Just IMO. |
