| That "Waiting for Godot" was as actually a lottery for Lincoln Center members, and they made you go through special hurdles, which increased its cachet as a hot ticket. I remember having to make a special trip to a law firm representing the company to drop off my entry. I won the opportunity to buy a ticket, but it didn't and almost couldn't possibly live up to the hype. Steve Martin came off best, Robin Williams had a little bit of shtick though he felt reined in, and the others were fine. Lots of celebs in the audience. |
