I didn't see it live, but the film of it is embarrassing. I can't understand why so many praised it and claimed it fixed Merrily. It did nothing of the sort.
Even Jenna Russell whom I think is fantastic was an over-the-top mess in this. Maria Friedman is... a bad director. There, I said it. |
