I can't see where Playbill Vault has made a change. For the original production of West Side Story, under the INSIDE THE PLAYBILL banner is the playbill with Muriel Bentley as Anita. I assume that means the playbill pictured is from the original run, but not necessarily from the opening night.
It is my understanding that when a playbill from the original run of a show does not exist, there is no INSIDE THE PLAYBILL banner on the page with CAST and PRODUCTION CREDITS, like for the original production of Guys and Dolls.
I changed the title of my previous post to "Nothing Tricky" in response to PlayWiz's post. My earlier post was a simple, straight forward post with information about billing that I got from Playbill Vault. I wasn't trying to make a joke or post anything tricky.
Sometimes I do get a little jokey in my posts, but not this time. |
