While I thought Radcliffe did an admirable and more than competent job in How to Succeed, I found that revival and his performance woefully misdirected. The show itself was over-directed and way over-choreographed, and he was under-directed. He seemed to have been told that Finch succeeds by doing absolutely nothing and letting the machine's gear move and propel him forward in the corporation. That is the most inactive take to have, and I found him charmless and uninteresting to watch in this musical satire. In many ways it was deadly. But did a good job within that, and I think he's capable of giving a performance that actually works in the show as written.
