Out of the Loop re Ticket Prices
Posted by: ashleylm 07:10 pm EST 03/08/22

I don't live in NYC, but I visit often (usually twice a year) and see as many shows as I can. Then of course Covid happened. Now that I'm allowed to travel again (thanks, Canadian government), and I'm all vaccinated, I'm ready to re-visit Broadway.

But heavens-to-betsy, the tickets are so expensive. I know people have always complained of it, but between 2 years' of inflation and the conversion between CAD and USD, it just seems overwhelmingly high. I suppose I used to just simply pay and be done with it, but have I had a mental relapse and forgotten the tips and tricks for getting better deals? I know about standing at TKTS, and I'm prepared to do it (as a single fellow, there's usually some nice seats to be had), but is there any other way that I might not know about, or that may have slipped my mind?

Awfully glad to come back, of course!
