Today Tix can be great, but typically the best discounts are time sensitive, so you might luck into a "No-Fee" deal or a string of Wednesdays in February when rear mezz is only $50, but I don't know how useful it is to people who are coming in from out of town and can't be that flexible.
Since OP is traveling as a single person, I recommend looking for single seats that have gotten stranded, as they will often be $20 - $30 lower than the standard price for that area. It doesn't necessarily make a show affordable, but it can take off some of the sting. |
