You're not a terrible communicator. You know a lot more about the Playbill Vault than I do. For years I never used it or had any knowledge about it. In recent months (or possibly since the pandemic) I began checking it out for the sole reason of trying to settle disputes on ATC about the murky subject of Tony decisions regarding the placement of performers in lead or featured categories. The murky issue seems to be over the question of whether there was ever a hard and fast rule regarding billing. That is, did billing require the placement of a performer in a specific category? I rather naively believed that the information on Playbill Vault was 100% reliable. I appreciate your post because it enlightened me considerably.

PlayWiz made a joke about my post about Robert Dhery being tricky. I knew he was joking. When your post mentioned that my response to your post included the title "Nothing Tricky", I thought I should make it clear that I was reacting to PlayWiz, and not to you. You certainly do not owe me an apology, but I agree that this topic is not worthy of continued discussion.

Sometimes, perhaps even often, it is difficult on a message board like ATC to definitively understand another person's post. Intent is occasionally, perhaps frequently, misunderstood or misinterpreted.
