Not to mention how that gutting of the scene, how much it sabotages the context and meaning of "Marry Me A Little" which the scene leads into.
This one-two punch of fuckery and betrayal/sabotage of the play is probably the biggest issue with Marianne's vision/version of the show, and the clearest indicator to me that she absolutely does not understand the show she's directing. |
