I read about this earlier and I'm really bummed. I looked forward to the Humana Festival every year.

I'm happy the theater has pivoted so successfully but I've found all their recent work and what they appear to be planning to be completely uninteresting. Actors Theater is great at making new plays. There are better filmmakers, internet content creators, and video game makers out there and I will likely turn to them when looking for those things. There's just nothing appealing or essential about the work they're doing to me anymore. But I'm 40 now... maybe they've passed me by. I hope they find/found a new audience.
