Is anyone else surprised that Jared Grimes is getting above-the-title billing for the supporting role of Eddie in ''Funny Girl''?
I can understand Jane Lynch's star billing. She's arguably the biggest name due to her Emmy-winning turn in ''Glee.''
I guess it's a lapse in my knowledge (and I mean no disrespect), but is Grimes a bigger star than I imagined?
I had to Google to find out he's in NBC's ''Manifest'' and has a few Broadway credits. Anyway, break a leg!
I imagine ''Funny Girll'' will later petition the Tonys to put in Lynch and Grimes in the Featured categories.
At least to avoid them from competing for a slot in Leading, versus Beanie Feldman and Ramin Karimloo. |
