I'm pretty sure I once saw the version on TCM that had the infamous fertility dance in it. Perhaps it was even longer on initial release. I think some of Bacharach's music is actually very nice, but most of Hal David's lyrics are quite bad. "Question Me An Answer" which if it had coherent lyrics might have been a possible theme song for how the game show" Jeopardy" is played, but in this film Bobby Van tries, tries to sell this song, but it just doesn't make sense. He and Sally Kellerman are the only people who have musical experience as of the time of the film. Liv Ullmann, yet to do "I Remember Mama" on Broadway was dubbed, as were most of the others. The melody of "The World Is A Circle" can be a earworm though. Otherwise, It's a bizarre film. Yes, the original 1937 film is a beauty.
