| Do you want to bet? My partner is black. He has family that loves theatre in both Chicago and New York. His 98-year old aunt has been a social activist in Chicago for over 70 years and even met Mandela. I taught high school, coached baseball, and served in the army with other black teachers, coaches, students, players, and soldiers most of my adult life. I would never dare to speak for black people because I'm white, but I engage, talk with, and listen to them every single day. I take very seriously what they say to me. Just saying. |
