Read theatremonkey.com for good info on West End shows. Discount info is available for most theatres. Theatreboard.co.uk is similar to allthatchat.com and mentions a lot about what's happening around the Capital. Check out Whatsonstage.com because that site when joined for free will send discounts to different plays & musicals. I like the Almeida Thea. and always get the least expensive seats in this small venue. It's a few stops on the underground from Convent Garden or a short bus ride. When the two leads depart Cabaret prices will drop. I see at some times The Playhouse theatre has 30£ seats available upstairs. Finally 1 British Pound £ = $1.30
Never use a ticket agency and please realize many people do not pay Full Price to get into a show.
I still stay at The St.Giles London Hotel still decent prices and walking distance to theatres. It's around the corner from the Dominion Thea. and four blocks from The British Museum. |
