I was just in a conversation about this and apparently most (not all but most) of the Red State cities are going through similar problems. But of course that can be blamed on the liberal Mayors of those cities by the Republicans.
I agree with the commentators that this feels new in nyc and probably elsewhere. It's a combination of complicated factors including a return to socialization in the midst of a pile-up of neglected problems whose unpaid bills are now due. |
