I noticed one of the downtown theaters here in Chicago advertising a show with a headline touting "parking in the same building as the theater." It was notable how prominent that information was in the ad. It seemed less about convenience and more about safety or the perception of safety.
I'm a lifelong public transit user and intend to remain that way. Chicago seems to be equally split between car and non-car owners. Very different than NYC or at least Manhattan. |
