| Of the shows yet to open, I’d say I’m most looking forward to MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, largely because the movie is among my top five favorites. But I’m probably the most curious about the revisal of FUNNY GIRL. From what I’ve heard and read, it’s purported to be a different take on the story for, as Ramin Karimloo said today on “The Broadway Show,” a “new generation.” I’m wondering what that means—and why the promos are so un-musical. |
