| Quick Question: With all the brouhaha over the London production; I wanted to confirm that the Broadway production is still the original Hal Prince concept and staging, yes? I might catch it on Thursday (because it's the only show with a Thursday matinee), but only if that's the version still running. Thanks! CP |

| I've re-visited it a couple of times with friends who never saw it. It's quite fascinating. It's a time machine back to a different era of epic Broadway musicals. Prince's staging is genius. You'll have fun. | |

| It is the original version, although I has had a few changes over the years which I can't elaborate on the details. If you haven't seen it at the Majestic Theatre, go. | |

| IIRC, Gillian Lynne tweaked the choreography in Masquerade and somewhere else. I'm not aware of any other changes, although somewhere in the 2010s Hal did a complete refresh, with new paint, costumes and full company rehearsal. I think people involved have stated he regularly visited and gave notes. | |

| At my last pre-pandemic semiannual trek to Mecca I told my traveling theater buddy I wanted to see Phantom on Broadway and his pearl clutch would squeezed oil from the desert. I had seen many tours, but have never seen it on Broadway so it was added to "The List." I agree with PurpleMonkey. See it at The Majestic if you have a chance. It is still magic. | |
