Just got out of the matinee. I also loved it though the first act had some pacing issues. The 11 oclock number blew the roof off the Barrymore with many offering a standing ovation for it. Choreography was terrific as was the music.
They need to work on getting the audience in effectively as the show did not begin until 2:20. They did not open the doors until 1:40. Lots of angry older people with all of the waiting in line.
Go see it! So nice to see an original score performed on broadway and not a jukebox show.
