| I was lucky enough to see that Encores production and I thought it was tremendous. I remember going on the board and suggesting (begging) for a Broadway transfer. I liked the original production a lot, but I thought it was mainly because of the staging. When I saw the Encores version I got to focus on the show and the score, and I was entranced. I was also 30 years older, so there's THAT... |
