| I remember, after Gypsy closed, there was talk of a LuPone-Benanti production of The Rink. I vaguely think it was either mentioned for Roundabout or London. Wish that had occurred. They're both too long in the tooth for the show now, but I think they could make it pass at Encores!. This is exactly the kind of show Encores! should do. Not that they have much of a purpose any more. | |

| I do remember rumors of a revival of The Rink starring LuPone, only it was Leslie Kritzer and not Benanti who was rumored to be LuPone's costar. Was allegedly going to open in London under John Doyle's direction. | |
