''The Ten Commandments: The Musical'' debuted in 2004 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
That version had music by Patrick Leonard and lyrics by Maribeth Derry, and the book was adapted from the French musical ''Les Dix Commandements,'' created by Elie Chouraqui. Val Kilmer starred as Moses, and the cast included Adam Lambert, Kevin Earley, Lauren Kennedy, Luba Mason, Alisan Porter, Nicholas Rodriguez and Graham Phillips. The show was shot and put out on DVD in 2006, and there are snippets on YouTube. |
